We now have a new lab called Digby and our new hut is named after him. We renovated Brosterfield Farm about 14 years ago and we are always updating and hopefully creating wonderful places for our guests to come and stay and share this amazing part of the Peak District with us. We live at the farm in the farmhouse and apart from an odd holiday, We have small and amazing team that help look after the farm and our properties we manage. There is Hannah whom spent her childhood actually growing up at Brosterfield (before we lived here) and now is my trusted go to person that helps with everything to do with the farm.. Melissa and her amazing girls that make sure all our properties are kept to the highest standards and Andy that does all tirelessly does our grounds. Sue, who has been my trusted friend and has worked at Brosterfield for over 12 years, from cleaning, to management to now making sure all our linen and towels are constantly being processed through with care and attention. 周辺エリアの情報
Foolow is a very picturesque little village in the limestone uplands set around its' duck pond.
The fine old buildings grouped around the village green complete with an ancient cross, bull-ring and pond make Foolow one of the prettiest villages in the Peak. The grand Manor House and Old Hall stand away from the humbler, but no less picturesque, cottages. There is a tiny church dedicated to St Hugh and slightly a grander looking Wesleyan Chapel.
The local pub which is a 10 min walk from the cabins is an amazing bonus to have on our doorstep with good food and ales!!
