Lilly’s Pad at Bosvean House is a self catering Shepherds Hut, it has a fully equipped open plan kitchen, lounge with a bathroom just off of it. and a large double bed, high quality bed linen and towels, it has an En suite with a walk-in shower and Premium quality toiletries, Television/DVD. Fully equipped kitchen with air fryer / microwave / fridge and Tea and coffee making facilities along with a hair dryer. just out side the door you can relax on the private decking with views over the adjoining countryside and surrounded by an abundance of wildlife and our on site Chickens & Ducks.
Along with Lilly's pad also In the grounds of Bosvean house sits a 1 bedroom detached self contained cottage which is available all year round.
In the morning your wake-up call will be the sounds of the local birds and lambs calling. The views are stunning looking out over open countryside its a walkers paradise with no better way to explore the area right on your doorstep.
A short walk along the bridleways with views of the Ocean, either take you into the quaint town of Stratton where you will find the Kings Arms pub for local dining and traditional Cornish and Devon ales and in the other direction your will find the popular Preston Gate Inn nestled in the beautiful village of Poughill . There is also an eclectic mix of restaurants and wine bars in Bude Town centres along with fantastic beaches which can be reached within a 5 minutes drive.
Bosvean House is a family run accommodation so we like to offer our guest the personal touch and we make their stay with us like a home from home, we are available if needed but like to give our guest their privacy.
Bude Town Center & Local Beaches is about 2.5 miles away. Bosvean House is ideally placed to explore towns and villages in both Cornwall and Devon. Approximately Half an hour along the Atlantic coast road will transport you to the legendary village of Tintagel, home to King Arthur, and to the picturesque harbours of Boscastle and Port Isaac, also the fictional village of Portwenn where they filmed the popular Doc Martin series. North of Bude you will find the wild beauty of Morwenstow , the unique historic village of Clovelly and the dramatic Hartland Peninsula with it’s diverse landscape & marine wild life. Larger towns, such as Launceston, Tavistock, Holsworthy, Bideford and Wadebridge are all within easy reach
There are plenty of ways to get around either with car, bicycle or walking, either way the beauty of the area is worth seeing.
