About this property
Overlooking the Market Square in the small town of Masham, this charming inn is set within a fine Georgian building of tremendous character, built in the second half of the 18th century. A quintessential English town, Masham lies peacefully on the River Ure on the outskirts of Ripon. It houses quaint almshouses and holds traditional markets twice a week. Established in Saxon times, its beautiful church was mentioned in the Domesday Book. Kings Head Hotel by Chef and Brewer Collection has been carefully renovated to combine traditional Georgian splendour with modern day comforts. To truly relax, during the winter you can take advantage of the real wood and coal fires, whilst in the summer the terrace is the perfect place for a refreshing drink.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.6 for a two-person trip.
