Flora is a lovely little ground floor apartment very close to the beach in Llansteffan. Bright and airy, yet small and cosy it is the ideal place for two people and very popular with the single traveller. Tucked quietly away behind big sister Seabank on the beach front in Llansteffan, Flora is accessed via an entrance off the owner's driveway next door leading to it's own private courtyard. Bi fold doors take you into a fully fitted kitchen/diner/sitting area tastefully decorated in blues and golds with Van Gogh inspired decor. The sitting area comprises a comfy bright mustard sofa bed and footstool. Should you want use of the sofa bed, please request the bedding on booking. From the sitting area a sliding door takes you into a small and cosy bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables and lamps. Guests can advise on booking if they would like the bed against the wall (popular with single travellers and those with less mobility, though one might have to 'hop over' the other to get in!) or in the centrally positioned with a little less room either side. At the other end of the apartment, a large shower room leads off the kitchen area comprising WC, handbasin, large shower (big enough for 2), heated towel rail and shaver socket. The outside courtyard has comfortable cushioned garden furniture and is private for guests use only. Off road parking is available free on the owner's property right next door. Public EV charging points are just 2 minutes walk form the property. Also 2 minutes is access to Llansteffan beach with numerous beach, coastal and rural walks from here. A welcome pack of Welsh produce is provided.
Hello, welcome to my listing. I was born and grew in Llansteffan just a few doors down from Seabank which has been in my husbands family for over 40 years. Between us we have a lot of local knowledge and can point you in the right direction for loads of lovely walks from the doorstep and further afield, local amenities and places of interest to visit. We are just next door, but only if you need anything. Other than that we won't encroach on your holiday.
Llansteffan is an unspoilt coastal village in Carmarthenshire. The village is overlooked by a magnificent 11th Century Norman Castle. The castle itself is a must for adults and children to visit and has commanding views over the village itself and our beaches - westwards to Pembrokeshire, eastwards up the beautiful Towy Valley and across to Worm's Head on The Gower and beyond.
We have 2 welcoming pubs, The Inn at the Sticks and The Castle, both serving food, village shop with onsite bakery, licenced coffee shop/bar and weekend Pizzeria, Craft Galleries, Cafes (some seasonal), public EV charging (just 2 minutes walk from Flora), St Ystyffan Church with a service every Sunday morning, a MUGA, 2 children's play areas, one being right on the beach. We are on the Wales Coast Path and have plenty of coastal and rural walks. A seasonal ferry service runs from Llansteffan across the estuary to Ferryside as well offering longer boat trips along the coast.
Llansteffan is 8 miles from the county town of Carmarthenshire and is ideally placed for exploring our little corner of Wales within easy driving distance to Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion, Brecon Beacons and The Gower.
