「Very obliging host who was due to circumstances beyond her control, unable to be present. However, she was contactable and ensured that all was well during our stay.

「The owner was very helpful and friendly. She offered us coffee and pastries in the morning, though it wasn't included plus she generously gave us a lift to the start of our walk. She was a very fascinating person.」

「Great location, quiet area. Super comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom and kitchen. Lovely host. I was out most of the day for the event, so I was practically on my own in the evenings. The accommodation is perfect.
Lots of shops in the area. I...」

Cissbury is situated on a residential road within a five minute stroll to the town centre as well as the South Downs National Park which stretches around the town for miles. The house has a courtyard with a sunny aspect, a large nature garden at the back with a trampoline, a pond and seating areas. There is a large BBQ there too for summer evenings if required. The house has a kitchen which guests are welcome to use and leave clean after use. There is a shared bathroom and a downstairs toilet. There are two dogs living at the property and a cat.
I'm a well travelled person having lived in different parts of Africa and Europe and speak English and French. I have two dogs, a cat and two ponies up the road. There is a bookbinding business on site with regular bookbinding weekend workshops so if this is of interest feel free to join us. I'm an accredited mental health therapist too.
Midhurst is full of attractions around and in the town. We have the Cowdrey Ruins, St Ann's Hill with it's old Roman fort, a walking trail around the town following the river and crossing fields before coming back into the town. There's the polo season in the summer. It's within easy reach of Chichester with nice shops and the sea just a bit further along.
