It's not all about fabulous beaches, sunbathing and water sports, we also have museums, caves, fishing, restaurants, a harbour and theatre in Torquay as well as idyllic Cockington, Paignton zoo and waterpark and Brixham fishing village on the doorstep. A day at the races is within easy reach in Newton Abbot and Exeter, which also provides a beautiful cathedral and great shopping. The rest of Devon, including Dartmoor and the Jurassic Coast awaits intrepid explorers using Torquay as a base. ENJOY!

Arran Lodge Guest House is located just 2 minutes walk from Torre train station and a 15 minute level walk to Torquay seafront. The walk takes in the historic Torre Abbey founded in 1196 and now the best-preserved medieval monastery in Devon and Cornwall. Nearby is the Riviera International Centre, which is perfect for hosting conferences as well as enjoying lesiure facilities, including fitness suite and wave pool.
Arran Lodge is a Victorian property built c 1890 close to local bus routes to the harbour and town centre as well as providing excellent road and rail links into Torquay or to explore Torbay and the local area.
Each of the guest rooms are tastefully decorated and beautifully presented and all offer en-suite double shower, bathrobe and slippers. Each room has a flat screen Freeview TV/DVD player and a selection of DVDs for your enjoyment. You will also find a mini-fridge, kettle and well stocked hospitality tray, complimentary toiletries, towels, hand dryer, iron & ironing board in all rooms. The large ground floor double room features an outside patio and the upstairs superior double room has a balcony and both have a relaxing outside seating area. We also have a single room, triple room and suite for up to 4 guests, which gives Arran Lodge excellent flexibility that can meet most people's booking needs.

Arran Lodge is conveniently placed to explore everything Torbay has to offer. Torre Abbey is a short stroll away and a lovely diversion on the way to the seafront and beach. There are lots of places to eat and drink nearby possibly before taking in a show at Princess Theatre.
The harbour is nearby with regular ferry links to Paignton and Brixham. Paignton offers fun at the zoo and water park whilst Brixham is a charming fishing village. We also recommend the idyllic local village of Cockington
