We welcome you in an old farm of the 18th completely renovated for an unforgettable Norman stay! We are 600 m from the beach (Juno Beach area). We offer you a large and comfortable bedroom on the ground floor with an adjoining shower room, as well as a large living room with large bay windows. Bernières-sur-Mer is a village rich in history, with a very beautiful heritage. It is one of the 8 Remarkable Heritage Sites (SPR) of Calvados, along with Deauville, Trouville, Pont l'Evêque, Cabourg, Bayeux, Creully, Villers-sur-Mer. Both rural and historical, the Pelloquin Barns, agricultural buildings of an ancient fief, have sheltered the agricultural activity of this fief, cultivation of cereals, flax, breeding of pigeons in a dovecote today disappeared. The place owes its name to the noble Denis Pelloquin, lord of Bernières, master of accounts in Rouen, living there at the end of the 16th century. During the Second World War, the whole domain was temporarily transformed into a field hospital, taking in wounded combatants, Canadians, English, Germans, but also civilians from the village.
