Located 150m (2 min walk) from the beach in Pyla, CASA PYLA is a spacious 151 m2, family home with a large, private garden. The villa has a beautiful, private garden and a 65m2 ipe decking which makes it the perfect outdoor space to enjoy Summer. From a walking distance to all the shops & restaurants in Le Moulleau, one of Arcachon's well-known districts, you can easily spend your whole holidays without taking the car and just walk or cycle or even take the boat to spend a day in Cap-Ferret.
We are a franco New-Zealander family of three and spent 23 years in London until relocating to the Bay of Arcachon. I am a Portrait, fashion, and lifestyle Photographer and in a previous life, I founded the interior concept store BODIE and FOU in London which is why you will find plenty of decoration and; photography books in our home. I have always tried to create inviting, relaxing homes and I hope you will get that relaxing feeling when you stay at our house. Our home in London (which used to be on Airbnb) got featured in Elle Decoration, The Telegraph, Inside Out, and House and Garden. Our home in Cazaux got featured in Côte Ouest magazine. It is ideal for two families and a wonderful base to explore the region, I will welcome you to show you where everything is in the house and then will be contactable by email, SMS, or WhatsApp if you have any questions like Where to eat oysters? How to use the induction? Best spot to surf? etc I have at heart to make your stay an enjoyable one so do not hesitate.
The house is located only 2 min. walk from the sandy beach, just 8 min walk from Le Moulleau & all the shops & restaurants. It is also only 10 min drive from the famous Dune du Pyla (Pylat) which makes it the ideal base to explore the beautiful Bay of Arcachon or spend the day in Bordeaux or in Cap-Ferret. The nearest surf spot is La Salie (20 min. drive) The nearest airport is Bordeaux: 45 min drive to our home. Alternatively, you can take the train to Bordeaux and then a train from Bordeaux to Arcachon. From Arcachon railway station, take line 1 and get off at the stop called: Capeyron
