Moon River dates back as far as the 15th century, taking it right through the Napoleonic years. A lovingly restored former Napoleonic Inn boasting many of its original features, character and charm. Situated in the ancient town, by the river with all its natural beauty, it’s a truly magical experience and yet the town centre is just a short walk away, in the opposite direction providing guests with the best of both worlds with bars, restaurants, patisserie’s and many traditional french shops. The Inn is tastefully decorated with French antique furnishings throughout and large rooms enabling guests to relax and completely enjoy the stay.

Moon River is located in the ancient part of Bellac, right by the river, boasting beautiful scenery and one of the oldest bridges in France, its is extremally picturesque. walk along the ancient streets and see the architecture of days gone by and mother nature all around. The town itself is just a stroll away offering a number of bars and restaurants, artisans and all usual amenities to enjoy and explore.
