Notre maison d'hôtes abritait un moulin à blé dans les années 1700 puis en 1900 un ingénieux inventeur de Métiers à dentelles s'est installé dans les lieux créant une production de dentelles dites "du Puy en Velay" avec de nombreux employés. La maison d'hôtes est la résidence des propriétaires de l'usine qui a été entièrement rénovée en 1988. Le parc est ombragé avec un des plus grands sequoias de France et dispose d'un agréable canal rafraichissant pendant la période estivale.
