This personally managed boutique hotel offers modern hotel rooms in a listed half-timbered house in the idyllic village of Glottertal near Freiburg, between the Black Forest and the Rhine valley. The furnishings are reduced to the essentials, but offer them in the best possible quality. Children are very welcome.
The day begins with a breakfast made from regional products, which combines a buffet and a daily changing selection of à la carte breakfast dishes. A varied selection of drinks is available around the clock. The garden, the living room lounge and the traditional parlor invite you to linger. The spa area offers a Finnish sauna with a view of the forest and river.
The hotel is recommended as a starting point for hiking and cycling in the countryside as well as for excursions to Freiburg, Colmar and Basel.
Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 8.8 for a two-person trip.
