All guests must be members of the DJH (Deutsches Jugendherbergswerk) or Hostelling International. Membership can be purchased upon arrival at the reception. The membership costs EUR 7 per year for guests under 26 years and EUR 22.50 for families and persons from 27 years. From 1 June each year, you can buy the DJH membership for half price when you become a member for the first time.
Non German guests must purchase a Hostelling International Card (EUR 18) if they are not a member of a national youth hostel association. For single overnight stays, a welcome stamp can be purchased upon arrival for EUR 3.50.
