About this property

Situated 600 metres above sea level and offering wonderful views of the surrounding Erzgebirge (Ore Mountains), this welcoming guest house offers modern rooms with free internet connection. Constructed in the 16th century as a stopover for tradesmen, the Gasthof zur Heinzebank in Wolkenstein is one of the oldest guest houses in Saxony. Following a long day hiking, riding or skiing in the mountains, you can dine in the hotel’s 100-seater restaurant or the new Kutscherstube pub. Choose from traditional dishes, gourmet meals or seasonal specialities. During good weather, the summer terrace invites you to relax in the fresh air.
