The chalet-style Hotel Bergheimat is scenically located in Königssee, on the edge of Berchtesgaden National Park. The Jennerbahn cable car is just 200 metres away, and WiFi is available. The bright and spacious rooms offer contemporary furnishings and a seating area. They all feature a TV, telephone, and private bathroom with hairdryer, and some have a balcony with mountain views. A daily breakfast buffet is provided in the restaurant which also serves regional and international specialities. Berchtesgaden offers a selection of restaurants and cafés 5 km from the hotel. Königssee Lake is just an 8-minute walk away, offering boat tours and swimming. Guests can also enjoy skiing, hiking and golf all within 7 km of Hotel Bergheimat. Berchtesgaden Train Station is 4 km from the hotel, and there is a bus stop just 200 metres away. The A10 motorway is a 20-minute drive and free parking is available.
