I moved to Prague in 2006. I'm originally from New York but moving here was one of the best decisions of my life. I started by renting out extra rooms in my apartment after my flatmate moved out. I found that I really liked the process of hosting and meeting people from all over the world. One thing let to another, and now, many years later, I have my own apartments in the city where I rent out apartments as a business. I came across the opportunity to rent out this historic villa in one of the best areas of Prague and I had to take it! I still love living in Prague and I hope you'll find it interesting and charming in your own way.
宿泊施設の情報
This is a historic villa built in 1938. It has been the home of famous diplomats, the headquarters of international companies and even the embassy of Ajzerbajan. Along with my assistant Andrea, we have converted it in to a homestay for travelers such as yourself. The furniture is all antique. We try to keep good care of it but be aware that you will be living in a very special place and we ask that you take good care of it while you are here. The rooms are very spacious. There are chandeliers in most rooms. There are several modern bathrooms that were installed after the original building was constructed. We have the old-style radiators so the room gets very warm in the winter time.
周辺エリアの情報
One of the best areas in the city. It's quiet and peaceful. You can walk to Vyshehrad for scenic shots of the city, the old church and cemetery, the outside beer garden, and loads of festivals and activities. At the same time you have trams that will take you everywhere you want to go including a direct line to the castle (tram 2). There are local grocery stores a few minutes away. The river walk begins at Vyton which is just one tram stop north of Podolska Vodarna, your tram stop. The beach complex with restaurants and cafes Zluty Lazny is also within walking distance just south of Podolska Vodarna along the river. Across the street you'll find Podoli swimming pool, the largest of its kind in Prague, equipped with two olympic sized pools, a kid's pool and a large water slide, suana and fitness center. There are also loads of quality restaurants in the area. The C line metro Prazkeho Povstani is up the hill. A 7 minute walk but if you don't feel like walking up the hill, there is a bus that takes you there in two minutes.
