Our Company, Costa Rica Horseback Adventures SA was established in 2019. We purchased 23 acres in the Volcano Tenorio, Rio Celeste rain-cloud forest located 1 hour 20 minutes due east of the Liberia International Airport. To drive to our ranch, it is a very easy and scenic drive on a major highway and a scenic newly constructed road. At the Volcano Tenorio Glamping Ranch in the Rio Celeste region, our local English speaking adventure guides have been escorting our guest on walking and ATV adventures. As our ranch has grown, we have added 3 luxurious Glamping tents with unbelievable mountaintop views originating from each of our Glamp Tents balcony's. In the near future, our Volcano Tenorio Glamping Ranch will consist of 17 Glamp tents along with hot mineral springs and a restaurant / bar.

Each of our lodging guests will stay in one of three fully furnished, luxurious 16' x 34' glamping tent suites situated on 23 acres within an exotic cloud rainforest next to Volcano Tenorio. Each tent can accommodate up to six guests. To ensure a restful night’s sleep, a local wood craftsman has crafted two queen-size comfortable beds with King Koil mattresses. Upon request, for children or teens, each tent is equipped with a King Koil self-inflatable premium air mattress, which can be installed before your arrival. During your stay, you will have access to free unlimited high-speed internet, air conditioning, a stovetop, a refrigerator/freezer, a 42” Smart TV, a microwave, a BBQ, cooking appliances, & numerous items for your dining & entertainment needs. IMPORTANT: Due to the extensive number of appliances/electronics in each Glamping Suite, we require a valid ID & credit card presented for the rental agreement. Every luxury glamping tent includes a connected exterior lockable toilet room. Additionally, just a short walk from your tent, you will find a stand-alone enclosed bathroom and two private open-air showers. Furthermore, within 300 feet, our stable bathhouse is available, equipped with additional private showers & toilets. IMPORTANT: THE CONNECTED TOILET ROOM IS NOT LOCATED WITHIN YOUR GLAMPING TENT BUT DIRECTLY OUTSIDE THE TENT ENTRANCE. In addition to booking your Glamp tent, our ranch provides ATV, Horseback Riding adventure through-out the Volcano Tenorio, Rio Celeste region. Based upon availability, your ATV, Horseback riding can be reserved in advance or during your stay by visiting our Costa Rica ATV & Horseback Adventures website or contacting our adventure team directly to reserve your adventure. As a boutique lodging ranch, we do not have a host living on the property. Therefore, it is important that you provide your estimated arrival time at least 24 hours in advance. This will ensure that our host is there to greet you when you arrive.

Within in the Volcano Tenorio, Rio Celeste region, you will be able to visit the mighty Tenorio river, celestial blue lagoons and of course, the Majestic Volcano Tenorio National Park. In addition to these wonderful eco-friendly locations, there are many local restaurant and bars that you might want to visit for a fantastic breakfast, lunch or dinner. Our local English & Spainish Adventure guides can escort you on an ATV, Horse or Electrical Bikes through-out the local farm land surrounding our Volcano Tenorio, Rio Celeste ranch. When staying at the ranch, you will experience seeing white-face monkeys, Toucans, a variety of Parrots and many more rainforest / cloud forest creatures.
