Why “Séquoia”? Because this majestic tree, deeply rooted in the earth, symbolizes what we were looking for: serenity, quiet strength, and a deep connection to nature. It grows slowly but steadily—at its own calm pace. That’s exactly what we wanted to create here: a place where time slows down, where you can truly breathe. We longed for a refuge, a simple and genuine place to recharge, go hiking, share special moments… and bring our dog along, who is an essential part of our adventures. As nature lovers who enjoy long walks, the Durbuy region naturally drew us in. For Valérie, this place is also filled with memories: her parents used to spend their holidays here and would often gather at St-Amour—now known as Limon e Tartufi. After visiting several chalets, we immediately fell in love with this one. Easy to access, without stairs, with a parking spot right in front, it’s located close to the brasserie and the swimming pool—while still being far enough to enjoy peace and quiet.

We are Valérie and Bruno, nature lovers who enjoy peace, long walks, and the company of our dog. Chalet Séquoia is our sanctuary—a place we created to slow down, breathe, and simply enjoy the moment. We are passionate about sharing this peaceful atmosphere with our guests and offering a warm, serene, and comfortable stay. You’ll find all the essentials for cooking, coffee provided, as well as soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer. The decor is simple and cozy. And the sofa? Super comfy 😎

The chalet is located in a green holiday park just minutes from Durbuy—the smallest city in the world. You’ll enjoy a peaceful natural setting, perfect for walking, hiking, or simply relaxing. Nearby, you’ll find a friendly brasserie, a swimming pool, a playground, and plenty of marked trails. Don’t miss Adventure Valley, the Topiary Park, Durbuy’s historic center, and the local shops (bakery, grocery store, etc.).
