Cowra , Wiradjuri country, is steeped in History. It was a vibrant centre in the Gold Rush era, however both the POW camp with its strong Japanese and Italian history , the post WW11 Migrant camp, as well as the beautiful Japanese Gardens and of course Wyangla Dam recreation area, continue to bring many visitors to the town today.
The local Visitors centre is fabulous and highlights a multitude of local attractions and activities.
