Offering the best of Mudgee rural seclusion, River Ranch combines unique ranch art, antiques and old wares with contemporary finishes and modern conveniences. A striking exterior with barn doors and timber shutters framed by lush landscapes welcomes guests inside. The camp kitchen includes all essentials—fridge, freezer, microwave, oven, toaster, stovetop coffee maker, and blender. An open-plan living area flows into the lounge with a wood-burning fireplace, rustic décor, pool table, and air-conditioning. Barn doors in the dining area open to stunning valley views. Outside, a wrap-around verandah overlooks the picturesque Riverlea valley. Fire up the BBQ and dine on the large deck under the festoon lights, or enjoy a wine and cheese plate around the fire pit. There is also a separate fire pit area complete with basic camp kitchen for those wanting to cook over open flames. Upstairs in the loft, rest easy in one of the four plush bedrooms with exposed timber beams. Three bedrooms offer queen beds, while the fourth bedroom has two singles. The master features a canopy bed draped with luxurious netting. Towels and linen are provided for your stay. There is also a lounge area upstairs to unwind. There is one generously sized bathroom inside with a clawfoot bathtub, separate shower, and toilet, plus a second toilet with sink located in the laundry. Provided are picnic baskets, rugs, and a property map to explore all adventurous spots of the Ranch. Please note, Starlink WiFi is only accessible from the house and there is no phone reception on-site—WiFi calling works through the house connection. As it’s a basic satellite service, streaming isn’t reliable, so we recommend downloading shows or movies beforehand and embracing a digital detox. Please note a AUD100 charge applies for guests bringing pets. No motorbikes, quads or dirt bikes to be ridden on our property, out of respect for our neighbours, animals and insurance purposes.

River Ranch sits on the Sydney side of Mudgee in a peaceful pocket of Riverlea, surrounded by rolling hills, open paddocks and native wildlife. The final five minutes of your drive follow a well-maintained dirt road before reaching the Ranch, where wombats, kangaroos and vibrant birdlife are part of the scenery.
