With the iconic ‘Nut’ as it’s backdrop and stunning views across the bay, our cottage, Number 10, is the place to relax and enjoy a quieter pace of life. We have 2 ensuite room, our Queen plus a King, with bay views, this makes it a great place for 2 couples travelling together as well as individual couples. Perfectly situated with off-street parking, Number 10 is only a short stroll to cafes, restaurants & other attractions Stanley has to offer.
My husband, Jeremy, dog, Charlie & cat, Leo moved to Stanley when we retire in 2019. We love the Tassie lifestyle and enjoy the outdoor activities & historic aspect of our local area.
Number 10 is our permanent residence but we travel much and are often away so we have a self check in in & out for your convenience. Our housekeeper is available to assist, if required, and will ensure your room is clean and ready for your arrival. Our private accommodation is at the rear of the cottage and guests use a separate front entrance to ensure privacy when we are at home.
Overlooking Sawyer Bay & Greenhills beyond, Alexander Tce has an array of old traditional timber cottages & is a key part of Stanley’s appeal in providing a glimpse of a 19th Century seaside port and village. Number 10 is within easy walking distance of all the towns attractions, including the Nut, two beautiful beaches, pubs, specialty shops & cafes. Stanley provides a base to explore the Tarkine, stunning Boat Harbour Beach and is a day trip to Cradle Mt.
