Amaroo is located just a few minutes from the centre of Ulverstone on the North-West coast of Tasmania. Amaroo is a short 21 minute drive from the Spirit of Tasmania ferry terminal, and only 24 minutes drive from Devonport Airport. Built in 1900, Amaroo offers a unique guest experience due to its beautifully maintained 1920s decor coupled with the luxury of a modern bathroom and kitchen. Each bedroom has been thoughtfully decorated and features high quality, comfortable bed linen and a relaxed atmosphere featuring several antique furniture pieces in keeping with the age and feel of the house, along with all of the modern comforts to ensure that guests can relax and enjoy their stay. Amaroo comfortably hosts large groups and families due to the number of bedrooms having queen and double sized beds, an expansive main bathroom, and the master bedroom having its own small ensuite as well as the detached bungalow room having the convenience of its own toilet and basin. The large modern kitchen is well equipped for guests who wish to prepare their own meals, along with additional gas barbecue facilities provided on the under-cover deck. Off street parking is also provided for at least two cars.

I commenced hosting guests at Amaroo in November 2024. It is a delight to be sharing this magical house with guests, and I get a lot of joy from ensuring that each guests unique needs are met to the best of our ability. I really enjoy researching and selecting antiques and finding ways to make sure each and every room has its own personality and feel. Nothing makes me happier than sharing my love of Amaroo with others!
