Our annexe is approx. 30 m away from our hotel and has its own entrance. The hotel and annexe are not connected. In the apartment house there is an underground car park, from where you can take the lift up to your apartment. A ski cellar is also available. Use of the spa with indoor swimming pool and whirlpool (changing facilities in hotel area available) plus a number of public facilities at the Hotel Schneider are included. Enjoy all the comforts of a hotel at good value prices and choose between a great holiday with Hotel gourmet half board or a self-catering holiday.
Due to our efforts to consistently provide an excellent service and the good working relationship with our loyal staff, the Hotel Schneider has become one of the most popular hotels in the Austrian Alps. The Hotel Schneider has been in existence for over 75 years. Between the construction of the little Brettstein alpine hut, where it all began, and the 4 star Superior Hotel of today lie a number of continual rebuilding and renovation projects.
Take advantage of the great piste-side location of our Dependance. It’s situated in a priviledged, quiet location, away from the main road, yet in the heart of the ski area and centre of Obertauern. The Gamsleiten 1 – 6-seater chairlift with direct connection to the famous Gamsleiten 2 is right next to us. From there you have access to a further 24 modern ski lifts. Don’t waste any time on your way to the ski slopes – put your skis on right in front of the door and away you go. There’s nothing to stop a perfect day’s skiing in Obertauern. Ski school, ski kindergarten and sports shops are just 150 m away.
