Although the stay at the Common Room was the only hostel accommodation I had during my Vietnam trip, it was one of the best experiences. The rooms are clean, stylish and very comfortable, providing good level of privacy. Staff and engagement in the social life of the hostel is amazing - there are dinner social events almost everyday. Location wise - you can’t get any better to the centrum of walking street. I recommend this hostel to everyone who would like to experience Saigon in great social environment.

Hostel with the best atmosphere in Vietnam! Super clean bedsheets and a towel were provided. There are various open-air areas for all your needs — a bar and a chill space with hammocks. The staff were wonderful and helpful. I returned to the hostel without a booking before my flight back and felt like I was meeting old friends. The place felt just like home.

It's located in an alley (which doesn't have the negative connotation it does in the U.S. In Vietnam, businesses are often in alleys). I was honestly surprised by how intimate the setting was. I was in the single room on the first floor as I was advised to have since I had a lot of heavy luggage from shopping and the hotel didn't have an elevator. Only a little bit of stairs to climb. Also, I left something in Hoi An and asked if I could have it shipped there (and this was before I even checked in and arrived) and they said yes and happily took care of it until I arrived. Everyone was nice and super responsive. There are pets but they are trained and not unruly, and they are small.

The room exceeded my expectations, it was compact, but still cozy, the bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and neat. There was a window overlooking the road, but we never heard any noise from the outside, despite living very close to the super loud nightlife street. The location is amazing, many good cafes and restaurants, convenience stores, shops, sightseeings, tour pick up points and so on. The staff is very nice and helpful, there are 2 corgis living there, so you can pet them :)
