We were traveling by bicycle and this made dinner difficult for us (a ride in the dark into town). The B&B HOTEL Maribor UNI Hostel is the best-located hostel in the city centre of Maribor. It can be found in the immediate vicinity of all tourist sights and dining, shopping and business areas. Free WiFi is available. We liked the beds, they were so comfortable to sleep on that I don't think we wanted to get out of them. The location of the hotel is also great, right on the square, and yet there was no noise from tourists or cafes. The food that was included as breakfast met our expectations, it was delicious, hot and varied.

This is my second time staying at Rooms Kaj & Kaja in Maribor, and it’s just as wonderful as before. The place is cozy, spotless, and really comfortable. It’s the perfect base for exploring Pohorje and the charming villages around. The hosts are super friendly and make you feel right at home. Highly recommend!
