Even-though it is a long drive from Arlanda, the landscape makes up for it. Specially if you drive the country-side roads. The Vanderheim is in a prime location having three National Parks in the neighbourhood and a couple of quiet, beautiful lakes. We particularly enjoy the sauna a lot. It is a great hut and being just next to the river, it is inviting for the whole Scandinavian sauna experience. Due to the airport chaos, our flights were a bit delayed but the hosts were very accommodating and prepare the sauna for us even when we arrived a couple of hours late. We are already looking forward to next summer to visit Tivedens again :)
