Good value for money. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you need. A nice yard with many fruit plants and toys to have fun with. We were free to pick some berries and apples. A little bit drive about one and half hour to almost all popular sites on the west coast, but considering the price and difficulties finding accommodations on west coast during peak season, it is surely a good choice. We travel as a family of 4 adults and 1 kid. The rooms are very well prepared with 4 single beds and surprisingly an extra folding bed which isn't shown on the room pictures. So none of us need to share a bed. Beds are very comfortable for a good sleep. Definitely come back again.

The beds were even and not saggy, kitchen was always clean and useful. The whole place exceptionally clean. I was in a dorm and bathrooms are always an issue but here they have one shared toilet/shower but then 2 other single toilets and showers so it makes it really convenient. Well thought out! Curtains on beds and individual light in bed, nice table in room, helpful staff. The decor is amazing cosy but chic. I’m older and not a fan of all this tech and codes to enter but it really wasn’t an issue at all. Good wifi and excellent overall experience. Near Haga area to walk around or historical redoubt on small hilltop. Highly recommend

Situated 3 minutes’ walk from the Stigbergstorget Tram Stop, this eco-friendly hostel is a 14-minute tram ride from Gothenburg Central Station. I stayed in a single room. It was quite small but enough for basic needs. Common areas were cleaned everyday. The atmosphere was peaceful. Location is easy to reach the city center. Would prefer to stay again!

This family-run property offers cottages and rooms with free WiFi and parking. It is a 10-minute tram ride from Gothenburg Central Station. Liseberg Theme Park is within 15 minutes’ drive. booked a stay on 28th of July for dates in mid-October. It appeared to be a right choice. the Vandrarhem is conveniently accessible as well as visible from the nearest Gothenburg tram lines, swift no-nonsense check-in process although I did not like it they copied my passport, easy to find and at a safe neighbourhood. I liked it for what they promised on the tin. Did not check out the breakfast as they could not tell me if the selection was primarily carbs or protein. Unfortunately I found the second biggest city of Sweden a bit lacking in the 'I might return' department, which means I also won't be back to Kivbergs. I recommend this vandrarhem tho.
