Partenope is in the center of Angra, near the botanical garden. The parking space is very close and it's cheap. Taxi od near as the bus stop. Restaurants and cafes are near as well as shops. It's a quiet establishment and honestly I can't in the evening and went around in the morning, My bunk bed was spacious and pleasant. Breakfast is basic; bread, cheese and ham, yogurt, juice, coffee, honey, Nutella, some sweets and fruits as well. Enough to start the day. The kitchen is spacious and has everything for a quick snack. It was pleasant to chat with the owner of the establishment as well. If you're looking for a place to end the day and start fresh, this is the place.

It’s a very new, clean and well equipped place. The only “hostel” part of it is shared bathroom, but there is one on each floor and I think like two apartments per floor, so I never had a problem that shower/restroom was busy. I was able to check in earlier (my room was free) and leave my baggage on the last day. It’s the best hostel I’ve ever stayed. Thank you!

This place feels like home. The manager is welcoming and attentive, and the solo travelers I met were lovely. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained, and the views from the terrace over Mount Brasil are wonderful.

It is very, very clean, comfortable beds with good quality bedding and pillows and importantly plenty of hot water. I stayed in late April in a private room which was just right for me. I can’t comment on the bunk rooms but they looked well appointed. The kitchen was spotless and available for self catering, just make sure you room number you food in the fridge. I’m happy to share, please don’t take. Whilst the breakfast selection was just continental, there was plenty to enjoy. The staff were just lovely, also very kind and helpful. It’s close to a large and a small supermarket, other shops, cafes and close to the sea and promenade walk. I’m extremely sensitive to the chemicals in plug in air fresheners and even that was accommodated for.

The room was clean and the ocean view from our balcony was amazing. Breakfast was excellent. All food was mage from local products (jam, bread, cheese, granola). The Helena and her husband are super nice hosts. They told us a lot about the island and things to do there. Great location, all amenities in the room. So I highly recommend this place to stay in island.
