The host is incredibly kind and such a wonderful person. The hostel itself is unique and beautiful, perfectly complementing the charm of Loriga village. There’s a very cozy living room and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen that’s great for cooking. I highly recommend staying here!

The room was very comfortable and the kitchen is well appointed and very useful to have available. The owner is such a lovely and very helpful man. Pousada de Juventude da Serra da Estrela is inserted in the scenic area of Serra da Estrela Natural Park. The unit is just 10 km from the nearest ski resort. Fantastic location and rooms. Warm even though there was snow outside. Wonderful that we could bring our dog.
