This place was the best we stayed in Madeira. Close to the center, but still quiet. Very comfortable and with nice design. The host was super friendly, he recommended us a very interesting trail run and a couple restaurants to eat. The shared kitchen has everything you need, clean. There is a place you can leave staff so others can pick it up and it won't be wasted. We loved that idea! Room was very comfortable and had enough space. You can also buy some local handmade products, we got a soap with a really beautiful orange scent 😍

Everything was perfect. The welcome from Sophia and Nunu was outstanding; the hostel is well cared for in every detail, and the cleanliness is at the highest possible levels. You can rent e-bikes and bicycles, and book excursions. The beds in the dormitory are comfortable and equipped with curtains for a bit of privacy. The value for money is really excellent. The breakfast that you can book is great, very abundant and includes fruit, vegetables, cold cuts, cheese, bread, and sweets, as well as coffee and fruit juice. The island is magical and has a really ancient history. A perfect experience. Thank you, Sophia and Nunu, for everything.

Nice location in the old center of Funchal, near the bus stop to/from Funchal airport (5-10 min walk) and with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Check in/out was very easy, access was controlled by a web app and was frictionless. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The room I stayed in had an en suite bathroom and airconditioning which was great. The bed was comfortable and had curtains for privacy. There's also a cafe for food/drinks.
