An absolutely delightful stay - and I don’t use these words easily. This is really a 5* hostel, if there would be such a thing. The main points: - staff: From the get go I was met with a friendly, warm attitude, was offered coffee and was shown around. Joao was on duty when I arrived, and he was wonderful in showing me a lot of things to visit in Lisbon and his suggestions of restaurants and attractions were so helpful and much appreciated. The other staff were also always super friendly, and helpful. - cleanliness: met and exceeded expectations. There are people cleaning the bathrooms several times a day, emptying the bins, making sure napkins/ toilet paper / soap never runs out, daily cleaning in the rooms, where you’ll find your bed aranged and items put in order upon your return from your daily exploring. - modern look: love how bright and nicely decorated it is, kitchen amenities everything that s needed, nice vibe that makes you feel like you have a little home away from home. The bar area / rooftop looks lovely, you even forget you’re in a hostel and not some other rooftop bar in the city, and a stunning view of the city. - amenities: I was surprised to see they have such comfortable memory foam matresses in a hostel! Then, if you need an iron board or hair dryer they’ve got you covered. Free coffee and tea are also fab. -great location, easy to explore by foot or metro. There is a Lidl close by, so you can get your necessities, groceries, pastries, fresh orange juice etc. - noise level: after 23.00 the rooftop bar closes and everyone is reminded respectfully about keeping the noise down for the others to be able to rest. This is great, as hostels can be so noisy and sleep distruptive most times. - safety: very safe, you’re given a room card & have the option to get a padlock and lock belongings in your allocated bed drawer. - social: great activities organised, from fado night to sintra day & pub crawl.

One of the best. I probably stayed in more than 30 hostels in my life. This one can be in my top list. I stayed in a private room. It was super comfortable, clean, nicely decorated and all the single rooms have a different theme which is super nice. Also, they organize dinner, tapas nights where you can meet with cool people and enjoy your time there.

Located within a 4-minute walk from Baixa/Chiado area and its’ metro station, Home Lisbon Hotel offers accommodation in the heart of Lisbon. 立地もよく、清潔感があり、一人旅には最適なホステルでした！スタッフはみんな優しく思いやりに溢れてます！！ヘアドライヤーがあったり、ラウンドリーが3ユーロでできるところも助かりました！(乾燥機は別途3ユーロ)大きめのスーツケースを持参しましたが、それも収まるほどの収納スペースがあり、南京錠で閉められるようになっているので、セキュリティ面でも文句ありませんでした。(タオルと南京錠は別途5ユーロなので、持参した方がいいと思います！)総じておすすめです

Located a few steps from the Restauradores Square and Metro Station, the youthful Goodmorning Solo Traveller Hostel is within 250 metres from the Rossio Railway Station. Staff are friendly, I had a warm welcoming. Location is perfect, in front of Restauradores Square and close to the metro station (blue line). Stayed in a 4 bunk beds room and it was perfect. There was a locker large enough to fit my luggage and my backpack. My bed had a curtain, a socket, a lamp and a small shelf. The dorms area has a door to lessen the noise from the communal area. Bathrooms and toilets were always cleaned. Breakfast is superb, all fresh made. The vibe is cool, even if you are shy or feel a bit awkward. They've got daily activities so the travellers can befriend and get along. It's not a party hostel, but you can meet other guests and go out for partying.

Warm, friendly and helpful owners and staff. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Great to be able to enjoy the pool and garden. Within walking distance of the town. One feels as if one is staying in a friends home.
