The warmest welcome I have ever had, a very friendly calm space. Visited in December, the cosy fire in the living room was a delight. Free washing machine with detergent. Clean kitchen/fridge, lots of utensils/pots and pans etc. Also condiments left from other guests. This little haven will exceed any expectation you may have!

Fantastic location. I booked the 9 person dorm and it was off season during the week day, so had the place to myself! There were only a few people there, so not a social atmosphere. The staff were through with the initial tour and the signage explained everything. The place looks exceptionally new and the cleaning staff always was cleaning. The terrace was nice, bathrooms were very clean. The reception called me a taxi, because roller bags were quite useful on these old streets.

This was a very clean and comfortable hostel on a quiet street. David the host was very responsive, friendly, and helpful with local recommendations. Bunk rooms are spacious and the common areas include a full kitchen, separate dining room, and outdoor lounge area.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool, garden, shared lounge and free WiFi, Slowly-Com Vagar is situated in Mourão, 15 km from Monsaraz Castle and 38 km from Alqueva Dam. Our stay exceeded our expectations in essentially every way. The rooms are provided with all necessities, and are very comfortable. The house is spacious, beautifully designed and has a very luxurious feel. We got make good use of the patio and the pool, and although our stay was too short to take advantage of the roof terrace it looks very nice as well. The first impression we got from the listing definitely, although perfectly fine, doesn't do the place justice by a long shot. Additionally, Isabel is an incredibly caring and helpful host. She was very forthcoming in providing us with anything we needed, and even offered us a ride to the location our car was parked in so we wouldn't have to walk in the sun.
