Sheila was absolutely wonderful with making me feel welcome and providing advice and assistance. Also, my private room was so comfortable, with a big bathroom and a heater (which is so nice to come back to when it's cold and wet outside!). The whole hostel is beautiful and they provide activities for guests to participate in. I only got to do the free walking tour and pisco making class because I was so busy doing all the incredible things Cusco has to offer, but both of these were fantastic. The daily yoga classes looked very peaceful and lovely and I wish I could have participated. They have coca tea and coca leaves available for free for guests in multiple spots around the hostel to help guests deal with the altitude. The location is great, convenient walking distance from everything and very close to the Plaza de Armas, which you HAVE to spend time in during the day and at night - it's so pretty! It gets quiet at 10pm every night so you can sleep. They cleaned the room every day.

There is a small kitchen that can be used, which is great for a long-term stay. The owner/manager, he is super nice to welcome every traveler. I can not speak Spanish, for me it is a bit difficult to communicate with locals, and he, and is his staff is really friendly to help me with assistance. One night I was sitting outside using my laptop under cold temperatures, the owner asked me I could go indoor cuz it was cold. I told him that it should be fine, then in the next 5 minutes his staff delivered a blanket to me! (How touching it was!)

All guest rooms feature a wardrobe. Owner Romulo and his staff are so nice, they are always ready to help and tell you everything about Cusco. The hostal is on the outskirts of the city (close to some Inca relics) and I had to catch ride to MachuPichu at 3am, Romulo was really considerate that he said it’s probably hard to hire Uber so he booked a cab for me and ensure a fair price is charged. The room is clean and cozy, very good value. I hope the best for everything for them. Hopefully one day I return and chill with them!

Situated in Sahuayacu, within 17 km of Huayna Picchu and 19 km of Machu Picchu Historic Sanctuary, Lia B&B Lucmabamba features accommodation with a garden and a bar, and free WiFi. Manuel Chavez Ballon Museum is 19 km from the hostel. Fredy and Esther’s B&B was one of our fondest memories in Peru. Even though we could only a bit of Spanish, they were so welcoming and accomodating(they do speak good enough English to understand both conversations and the tour). To see how coffee is made from tree to cup was a big experience for us and possible even though it was out of season. We can highly recommend.

The room was clean, there was a hot shower and everything was great.

The room was the cleanest room I have stayed in in Cusco. Would have loved to stay longer. And loved all the beautiful plants.

The accommodation is extremely well maintained and beautifully set within restored historic walls right in the center of Cusco. I could walk everywhere which made exploring the city very easy. The check in process was flexible and smooth, and I received many excellent local recommendations that made my stay even better. The hosts were exceptionally attentive and friendly. They took real time to help with every question and made me feel genuinely welcomed. Casa Terra is a place with great character, comfort and warm hospitality. I would happily stay here again and can recommend it without hesitation.
