Super new hotel with a fantastic view right from bed (you could see the sunrise). The owner and his worker Ram are both really friendly and helpful with everything you need. We had breakfast and dinner there, which were both nice. Being 2 minutes away from the balcony track was also a plus. The surrounding area seems still being authentic and the only thing you hear are goats and sheep.

All rooms in the hostel are fitted with a kettle. Featuring a private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at بيت نُزل السلام التراثي Bait Salam Inn also boast a mountain view. The units will provide guests with a toaster. This place is a little gem, a lucky last minute find. The location is wonderful, right amongst the palms with a beautiful outlook and only a few minutes walk through to the old village. In addition to nicely appointed bedroom and bathroom for a very affordable price, there are several outdoor lounging areas with elevated views over the fields. Hamza was a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host and offered a traditionally cooked meal during my stay. I was sorry to only stay one night as it was very peaceful and relaxing, it would have been nice to stay longer.

Muscat International Airport is 226 km away. Amazing location just steps away from wadi ghul, literally just had to step outside to see the beautiful sunrise over the mountains. Our local Omani host was amazing and we learned lots from him over tea! Highly recommend staying here for an authentic experience living in the mountains for a night.
