Less than a 10-minute walk to Christchurch Airport, just past the outlandishly fascinating International Antarctic Centre. Loved the privacy of the pods ("Beam me up, Scotty!"), and the communal areas as well as the sanitary facilities which were large, clean, and functional. However, the overall vibe was a bit off, and the guests were not as talkative and sociable as one might have hoped for but rather aloof and stand-offish, with quite a number of them more or less staring at their phones. Sign of the times, I suppose.
