The staffs were very friendly and the place is superbly clean and well organized. The bunks bed had their own personal lamp & mini fan. On top of that the room is equipped with air cond.

We had a private room with shared bathroom and it was just fine.
Excellent value for money, staff incredibly warm and nice, they were so helpful.
Basic but clean, A/C and wifi worked great, clean sheets and towels, what else do you need?!

Lovely small hostel with super nice location, very friendly owner who answers your questions super quickly:) Clean, but a bit annoying if you go to the toilet as a girl right after the cleaning cus all the toilets have then been showered down and you need to wipe it down to dry. But I survived that and I would definitely stay again. Very comfortable stay.
Regarding comments saying it’s not social, I agree and disagree. People are actually hanging out in the common area (maybe not together), but if you wanna start conversation with someone, it would simply be to open your mouth😃

I wholeheartedly recommend this hostel to everyone. It is situated in a peaceful and charming area of Central, with helpful staff. When I booked a mixed dormitory with four guys and was the only girl, they upgraded me to a four-bed room dormitory with all girls, which was extremely thoughtful. Additionally, they offer bike rentals for 10 MYR from check-in to check-out, which I loved.

Very homey, small hostel so I didn’t have a problem meeting people, you can cook, free bicycle usage, good aircon in the dorm, and the owner is very friendly and helpful!

It is a good and cheap option if you need a place just to sleep while staying in Malacca for a night or two. Maybe not a place you'd like to spend time at just to enjoy being there, but it has everything you need as a budget traveller. It's nice that inside your room you can choose whether to use AC or a fan. Also there was a lovely man working at the reception on a night shift. We had many cool chats with him every time we went in front of the hotel for a cigarette.
