Really enjoyed my stay at Kin, and even extended my stay by 3 nights to spend a week there. The tent I stayed in was perfect - comfortable for sleeping, with a fan, light and plug socket. They also have mosquito nets. The area is peaceful which allowed for great sleeping. All of the hostel staff and volunteers are very kind and work really hard to ensure the place is always really clean. Would highly recommend staying here when in Holbox!

The whole property is beautifully designed and well taken care of. We travelled for 4 weeks all over Mexico and Mimosa was by far the best hotel we stayed in. Especially the welcoming staff made us feel truly welcomed like we were at home. So if you need to recharge your batteries and have at the same time all the opportunities to discover all the wonderful things around tulum, this is a very good spot to do so. Here are some highlights: + Beautiful tepee + Quiet nights to sleep well + Wonderful drinks at the bar and the 2 for 1 deal is a must do :) + Meeting nice people in a relaxing surrounding + Welcoming staff that are more than just workers + Fun and interesting talks with guests and staff + Easy bike rental + Best food trucks in Tulum are just 2 minutes away in walking distance + Good location to start trips to Cenotes (e.g. Calavera), Tulum ruins and beach and music festivals (e.g. Day Zero) Looking forward to coming back and seeing again Jimmy and all the nice staff! First time for us in Mexico , we really appreciated the warm welcome and all the helpful advice given to us by our hosts . Benjamin and Morgane’s philosophy is to offer local tips and support to travelers. They also reach out to the local community for their unusual trips such as beach cleaning and dog shelter visiting . We tried salsa dancing and a visit to a lesser known Cenote . Totally recommended. The hostel itself is very comfortable- we had a double room with shared kitchen and beautiful garden with a little pool . The location was great walking distance to a lively little park where it was easy to pick up street food , a few restaurants and a local bus colectivo to the beach . Here there are lots of boat trips to go fishing or snorkelling on the coral reef . Puerto Morelos is an ideal first or last stopping point for Cancun airport about 25 minutes away .
