The tent I stayed in was perfect - comfortable for sleeping, with a fan, light and plug socket. They also have mosquito nets. The area is peaceful which allowed for great sleeping. All of the hostel staff and volunteers are very kind and work really hard to ensure the place is always really clean. Would highly recommend staying here when in Holbox!

Benjamin and Morgane’s philosophy is to offer local tips and support to travelers. They also reach out to the local community for their unusual trips such as beach cleaning and dog shelter visiting . We tried salsa dancing and a visit to a lesser known Cenote . Totally recommended. The hostel itself is very comfortable- we had a double room with shared kitchen and beautiful garden with a little pool . The location was great walking distance to a lively little park where it was easy to pick up street food , a few restaurants and a local bus colectivo to the beach . Here there are lots of boat trips to go fishing or snorkelling on the coral reef . Puerto Morelos is an ideal first or last stopping point for Cancun airport about 25 minutes away .

It’s quite a new building so everything was still very new, clean and very well maintained. The beds are comfortable, big lockers, great pool and roof top, avocado toast and pancakes for breakfast, I could go on and on. Great value for the money! Best hostel I have ever stayed at.
