All rooms have a safety deposit box. i had the most amazing time staying at moroccan dream hostel! it’s super affordable and incredible value for money. one of the best things about this hostel is the staff and the roof terrace. the owner, karim, made me feel like family. incredibly kind and helpful with organising day trips within morocco, showing me around Fes, hanging out together at the hostel and always being there if there’s any issues or questions. the location is very convenient and i felt very safe as a solo-travelling woman. i will be going back there for sure! :)

Conveniently set in the Fes El Bali district, the property is situated 1.1 km from Karaouiyne and 4.6 km from Fes Railway Station. The accommodation features room service, and currency exchange for guests. My stay in the hostel was really good. The hostel is located in the heart of Fes el Bali (Madina) and close to all major attractions by walking distance. I had a late check in and the receptionist Yassir helped me with that. Yassir was very friendly and always available and ready to help person. The dormitory room I stayed in was spacious and with a toilet attached to the room. There is also a roof top and common area on the last floor of the building. For the price they offered me, it was a great stay and I will surely recommend it. Note: The hostel is located in Medina with so many narrow roads with shops packed around and like a network. This is the case not only for this hostel but for all accommodations there. The Google map doesn't function well there. You really need to follow the directions from the hostel otherwise, you could get lost roaming around even an hour unless someone from the hostel comes to pick you. That happened to me at midnight 2 am and finally Yassir came to pick me up. If you arrive with Taxi to the blue gate (Bab Bou Jeloud gate), I share you the photos to identify the places where you need to take turns.

All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. I have spent several trips to remote parts of Morocco for fossil studies and this has been my favorite. Stunning location, warm luxurious meals, and a very gracious host. I would absolutely come back!! If you want a beautiful, natural Morocco off the beaten path, but comfortable and safe, this should be a top destination. Stayed with three students and spouse.
