The place is simple, but it covers all the essentials and does the job well. The host was nice. Just a heads-up: the photos were taken right before checking out, so it might not look as fresh as when we arrived. Overall, a good stay in a convenient spot.

The host is the highlight of this hostel- you feel like you’re at home with the amazing welcome you are given. She cooked us dinner each night (amazing grilled prawns!!) and provided us with cold water, fruit, tea, coffee and anything else we needed for no extra charge. She made us feel like family - we were sad to leave!! Very quiet and great location too. Highly recommend!! Good wifi and service.

The staff is absolutely amazing and it’s clear that they genuinely care about the guests and the property. They go above and beyond to make sure everyone is cared for and happy, whether it’s arranging activities, tuk tuks, meals, etc. Okay wifi, good for Sri Lanka. Air con in the room from 8pm - 8am. Family dinner every night for 1000 lkr. Free breakfast which is amazing traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. 3 minute walk from the beach where there are bars/restaurants/cafes and many dive shops. Between the hammocks/central couch area and the organized activities happening every day, you’re guaranteed to have a fun, relaxing stay.

Losan also organized several great activities for us — snorkeling, diving, sunset outings with guests from a friendly guest house, and even some lovely apéros. It really helped create a fun and social atmosphere without ever feeling forced. I had both breakfast and dinner during my stay — everything was delicious! Special mention for the spicy biryani: full of flavor and absolutely satisfying. This place strikes the perfect balance between being alive and peaceful — ideal for anyone looking to recharge without feeling isolated. 100% recommend this place!

The accommodation features a shared kitchen, room service and currency exchange for guests. Booked a hostel bed, was the only person in the room with a few single beds. Place was relatively clean, very quiet as there was no one else really there. There was no AC remote in the room but there was a fan, the bathroom was en suite so that was nice and the location was decent, only thing it’s a dead end alley so you have to walk around the corner to get to the beach.
