Eden kandy was the last and also the best hostel I stayed and honestly, it was fantastic. The whole place was super clean—whether it was the lobby, the rooms, or the lovely courtyard where you could lounge on chairs and just relax. They even had some monkeys occasionally wandering around the yard, which was pretty fun to see! The manager was incredibly friendly and helpful, always trying to assist with anything guests needed. They provided free filtered drinking water, as well as complimentary tea, coffee, and Nescafé in the kitchen, which was fully equipped and even had a kettle so you could make hot water whenever you wanted. Out of the four hostels I stayed at during my week in Sri Lanka, this one was the best. The price was very reasonable, the room’s cooler and fan worked perfectly, and overall it was just an excellent experience. I’d absolutely recommend it and would definitely stay there again if I come back to Sri Lanka.

He cooks excellent traditional Sri Lankan dishes and can give you all the tips you need on the most unmissable places to visit in the city and the country. Asanka was extremely helpful! He taught us lots about Sri Lanka. He went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. He helped us get tickets on the Ella train. The breakfast was DELICIOUS!
