This hostel sits above "Nest Beach" and "Nest Jungle" so it is part of a group of hostels in that area, which is almost a village. Topview is at the highest point, of course, but Blue Zone is mixed in with all of that. So it is sort of an annex for people who want to be at the "Nestival" parties on Saturday and Wednesdays, etc. Whether you like it or not depends on your budget and what parties that you might want to attend.

I extended my 3-night stay by another night here. Honestly, you could easily stay for at least a month. Tasha and Kirsten’s hospitality, the location being a paradise, the wooden house I stayed in, and its incredible comfort all made me feel right at home. The place has a plant-based kitchen, and they’re currently experimenting with new flavors. My favorite was the Scrambled Tofu Wrap! It was amazing—I practically licked my fingers. The bar’s cocktails are also excellent. You can watch the landscape from the bar through the sea and the trees! This is a perfect spot for vegan and vegetarian friends to stay at a very reasonable price while enjoying the peace of the island. There are also some small animal friends like cats and dogs around. In the evenings, there’s even a larger lizard buddy who walks along the upper beams of the bar, looking around. This place is truly wonderful—definitely visit!

At the hostel, the rooms include a balcony. Had an amazing stay at Kualama Koh Rong Sanloem! It’s a beachfront hostel! perfect if you’re looking to chill by the beach. The common area is wonderful, I spent most of my time there! Located on a quieter side of the island, everything you need is within walking distance. The rooms are good. Note: there’s a fan for each bed, but at night the weather cools down, so it was totally fine. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a chill, relaxed vibe.

You can play billiards and table tennis at the hostel, and bike hire is available. I stayed in a private room which was clean, spacious, comfortable and had air conditioning and hot water. The hostel is right on the beach which was beautiful. You can use a card at the hostel which I found great especially as there are no ATMs around, but I wish that the hostel allowed you to set up a tab to pay in one payment rather than individual payments especially when international banks charge for using a card abroad. The staff were friendly and helpful. I did the boat trip and enjoyed it, it was good value for money. The room was the most expensive I paid when staying at Onederz hostels however it is on an island so it is to be expected. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended it by 2 days. It is not a party location but perfect to relax and have a sociable evening with drinks meeting others. It was only a short walk to lazy beach.
