The host were super nice, and helpful, gave me tips, talked to me a lot, and a transfer from the station was part of the deal too. ✨️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hostel or guesthouse is amazing. The common area is amazing, beautiful and comfy. The bathrooms are super clean and comfortable. The dormitory room is big, spacious, and you can have enough private space. There are lockers and washing machine too. The kitchen is also nice, which is good, since the guesthouse is in a village, with limited restaurants at dinner time.

Kagelow Mt.Fuji Hostel Kawaguchiko has been newly renovated in September 2015. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. There are shared bathrooms on the ground floor, and Mt. The view of Mt fuji from the street the hostel was on was amazing

Located a 5-minute stroll from Shimoyoshida Station, Hostel & Salon Saruya offers a renovated 80-year old Japanese-style accommodation with free WiFi. This was one of the best places we stayed in our trip. Lived everything about this hostel, even down to the lovely sheets. So much care put into everything. Amazing.

We stayed at a beautiful traditional Japanese room with beds on the floor which were very comfortable to my surprise. The bathrooms/shower space was big and clean and the guy in the reception was kind and very helpful. There was also an option to take a bike (for free) which was great and allowed us to easily explore the area.

Matatagpuan sa loob ng 3.5 km ng Fuji-Q Highland at 7.8 km ng Lake Kawaguchi, ang Fujiyoshida Youth Hostel ay nag-aalok ng mga kuwarto sa Fujiyoshida. It's a beautiful guesthouse, more like a cozy home than a hostel in terms of atmosphere, so it may not be the best option for solo travelers looking to socialize. The staff was friendly, and everything was in good order. There is a microwave and hot water, which was convenient. The location is also good. However, it was cold inside—it actually felt even colder than outside. There is an air conditioner, but I don’t like the fan-type heater; it just doesn’t work well for me. Still, I recommend the place overall

Dot Hostel&Bar 富士山 is located in Fujikawaguchiko. With a shared lounge, the property also has a bar. American breakfast is available. We stayed in a beautiful twin room which was roomy enough for luggage, a small table and chairs. It included a full bathroom with a tub shower. The lounge area was comfortable and pleasant to hang out in. The kitchen facilities were comfortable enough so that someone could make simple meals for themselves. We traveled to the area by bus, and the bus stop was adjacent to the hostel. Just be careful watching the bus schedule, early and late times are not available. The location was terrific. We had great views of Fujisan, an enjoyable garden area along the lake, and miles of walking or biking path.
