DENIM HOSTEL float ตั้งอยู่ในคุราชิกิ และอยู่ห่างจาก Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park ไม่เกิน 16 กม. Denim Hostel is definitely a place you go to relax and escape the cities. It is very relaxing - i stayed in FUNE as a solo traveller, and enjoyed a glass of wine and coffee on the balcony and the peace. Also not advertised here, but you can request the Indigo Dyeing experience - this occurs at 3pm, and for ¥3000 you can dye a piece of your own clothing, or purchase a shirt from the shop. It was a lot of fun, and I dyed a shirt and pants set - it came out amazing! I also loved that you can reserve the onsen to yourself for an hour - basically prior to 9pm the onsen is only available via booking on their website, and after 9pm it is open to all. Make sure to book in advance!

Great clean and friendly hostel above a bar in the main strip area. Good access to everything. Dryers and shower were super nice.

Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
