El Hostel Cuore Kurashiki se encuentra en el distrito histórico de Bikan, en Kurashiki, a 10 minutos a pie de la estación de JR Kurashiki. Room was nice. Had heated beds with a controller to adjust the temperature. There was a desk and sink in the room. Shower room was fully stocked and clean. The center of the hostel to walk from the room to the shower room is exposed to the outdoors so very cold if winter but it's not so far so it's fine. Good restaurant downstairs and useful laundry room.

Kikusui Ryokan está ubicado en Tamano, a 24 km de Sogenji Temple, y ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y un jardín. The room was exactly as pictured. The beds were very comfortable. The bath was excellent and very very hot. New towels every day and a bargain tumble dryer.

北房まちの駅 AZAE ドリトミー azae está ubicado en Maniwa, a 22 km de Shoka Museum Ikegamitei y a 23 km de Bukeyashiki Kyu Oriike Kyu Haibarake. Mr Sakamoto was a wonderful host! He does his job well as local town tourist information manager. He welcomed us, gave us some maps and answered our questions. It’s a converted Japanese house, not a hotel. We stayed in the cheaper dormitory part of the property. It was adequate. In the dormitory side the two rooms are upstairs and the toilet and small shower are downstairs. The toilets were clean and the kitchenette area under the stairs was adequate for simple dinner and breakfast we had. The local supermarket is a short distance away by car and open 9a-9p. Plenty of selection available. We enjoyed a morning walk along the lovely little river and through the town and countryside. The firefly park and pavilion were a short drive away but they were interesting to see. We’d love to go back in the spring during cherry blossom season and in early June for the firefly season. The stars were beautiful since there’s little light pollution!
