From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and were incredibly helpful throughout my visit. They went above and beyond to assist me when I had a bus problem heading to Shirakawa-go, ensuring I had all the necessary information and support. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Kanazawa Station, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The beds are comfortable, the facilities are clean, and the rates are very affordable.

It is a beautiful old house in walking distance to the station and main tourist attractions. Clean and quiet, I had a very relaxing stay. I slept upstairs in the huge family room and chose the futon to sleep on. So comfortable! The host, Makoto-san was very kind and helpful, explained everything very well about the house and my stay. I would happily stay here again.

Takigahara Craft & Stay ligger i Komatsu och har en trädgård, en gemensam lounge, en terrass och en bar. I loved everything about the place. It was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The surroundings are stunning, and it's very easy to go for a hike in nature. The staff is kind and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. Bear in mind that the stay is a bit remote, so it's hard to get there and move around the area if you don't have your own vehicle. Nevertheless, they will offer to pick you up and drop you off at the station, while also providing you with a bicycle once you get there. To me, this only added to the experience. There's a cafe where you can have something to eat from 10 am to 6 pm. Even though the food offering is limited, it is really tasty.
