Nagtatampok ng shared lounge, ang Hostel Miyagawa by Murasaki ay matatagpuan sa gitna ng Takayama, wala pang 1 km mula sa Takayama Station. The hostel is just great. The staff is so welcoming and nice, we had nice chats. Also the other guests were nice. Everything is very clean and comfortable, it's directly at the river and the morning market. Only a 10 min walk from the station. It's very new.

Matatagpuan sa Shirakawa, sa loob ng 46 km ng Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village at 47 km ng Takayama Station, ang GuestHouse Shirakawa-Go INN ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may shared lounge at libreng... It was cozy. The facilities were clean. The owner is very nice, helpful and accommodating. The best part is they offer a free ride to and from the bus station and the inn. You just have to inform them beforehand. The owner told me that they have been living in Shirakawa-go all their lives and that they built the inn DIY. It was impressive.

Matatagpuan sa Takayama, wala pang 1 km mula sa Hida Minzoku Mura Folk Village, ang Sakura Guest House ay nag-aalok ng accommodation na may hardin, libreng private parking, shared lounge, at terrace. The staff are so kind. They make you feel welcomed like family right away. Also a very social environment — the best type of social wherein everybody just gathers together at the end of the day to share stories. The space is beautiful and designed to feel like a traditional Japanese home. It was especially great to be there in the winter, because everything felt very cozy. It was also the perfect home base to see the Snow Monkeys, because it was a situated right on the super cute train line that takes you to/from Nagano and the monkeys.

We were accomodated in different place than was advertised, so I cannot review anything. Price was high, but it could be because of the autumn festival that was happening that day.
