Only a 2-minute walk from JR Takayama Station, K's House Takayama Oasis offers free WiFi throughout the property. Excellent location, good room and friendly staff. Nice to have free coffee freshly brewed in the morning. Overall very good price-quality ratio.

Backpackers Jinya ligger bekvämt beläget i centrala Takayama, 9 minuters promenad från Takayama station och 2,6 km från Hida Minzoku Mura museiby. Amazing property! In the absolute best location and loved the remote check-in which was surprisingly more efficient than more traditional methods. It’s unfortunate I was only able to spend one night here as it was the best stay of my whole trip!

A perfect opportunity to get real local experience. This place is not made for tourists and if you prefer 5star hotels this place is not for you, but if you want to learn more about Japanese onsen culture it is perfect. You can use multiple baths and sauna as well as cold pool for 900 yen in the evening and in the morning before check out and enjoy nice food right after taking a good bath. Your company is gonna be some Japanese uncles and aunties, but they are great. It’s a simple place with a great soul!
