Everything was perfect ! These 3 days were awesome. The place through coffee plantations with wild life around is super nice. You can bring your food and cook there if you want. The amenities were also super with the fire place. Owner is, as well, friendly and can help for anything. I can only recommend !

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Abode Backpackers Hostel. Located in a quiet area, it is easy to reach Madikeri city centre and all of its restaurants, cafes, shops, and transport links.
The hostel is well maintained and has the basic amenities needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.
The host Dev and manager Navin are incredibly down to earth and helpful. They provided me with guidance and advice on how to best spend my time in Coorg, and were always available if I needed anything. Pistachio, the dog also provides much entertainment.
It's not a fancy or commercial hostel like some others in the area. But it is charming, and the people (Dev, Navin) made it a memorable stay.

Really good place to stay! You wake up in the morning, step out to the balcony and find yourself in the middle of coffee plantations. The whole place is very spacious, they have many game facilities (table tennis and so on) and a really nice cafe, where you can easily take your meals. Beds are clean and comfortable.

I had 4 fantastic days at the hostel. The surrounding area with coffee plantations were great to do walks in, and look at birds and flowers. The hostel also offered a fantastic hike to a hill in the Western Ghats. The staff were friendly and caring, and had a deep knowledge of the area.
The dorm was spacious and well ventilated.
It was always possible to order delicious and reasonably priced food.

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed. The rooftop terrace is spacious with beautiful views and plenty of places for sitting and socializing with others. Rooms are big, beds are solid with nice curtains.
