At one point they took my call to meet me outside because I was scared of a street dogs they came to my rescue right away. As for the dorms they are very simple and basic but they do the job.

The swimming pool and view from the pool is great. The staff is very friendly, organized a nice hike for us and served very good piña colada’s. They also provided a good day trip to semuc champey and good shuttle service to Flores.

The location is outside of Lanquin but they provide a free shuttle too the property and it is 25 quetzales to go back to the bus station. The pool was a wonderful surprise
