I booked on a Wednesday which was the day of the BBQ night, for just 10 euros there was a fantastic unlimited bufet :) I really appreciated that there was not only meat but also many options for vegans. A shout out for the curry which was super yummy! There are a lot of people who come to the night both the travelers in the hostel as well as the locals which creates a wonderful atmosphere. Comfortable beds and a relaxing garden. I recommend La Tortuga without a doubt!

The property is situated 16 km from Golf del Sur, 27 km from Los Gigantes and less than 1 km from Siam Park. Golf Las Americas is 3.5 km away and Piramide de Arona Convention Centre is 3.5 km from the hostel. Very cozy, clean, and quiet place with fantastic attentive hosts. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Breakfast is included, or you can cook your own meals in the kitchen. Filtered clean water for your tea or coffee. Great view on the palm trees from the terrace. Very convenient location. I felt like home there.

Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a tour desk, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Aqualand is 5.4 km away and Golf del Sur is 15 km from the hostel. The staff was fantastic (Mati, Ana, Rachel, Agus, Sabella and the young Argentinians). They created a friendly atmosphere for and with the guests. Many options for dayly activities. I'll of course return here next time in Tenerife ❤️.

The hostel is like a big villa with family vibe. I like that the hostel organised dinner together every night with different dish and activities. During my stay I joined the Venezuelan dinner and it's a great way to get to know other people staying in the hostel. This is the first hostel I stayed that has 3 different kitchen and multiple common areas. The toilets/showers are also great.

Such a friendly place with good vibes and lots of actitivities offered. Great for solo travelers. The barbeque's are fantastic. The pool area is perfect for relaxed days. The bar is nice but only accepts cash. Kitchen is vibrant and has all utensils needed. The Avacado toast for breakfast (5€) is pure magic, highly recommended. The free shuttle 5 times a day is perfect when going to the beach or shopping.

Casa Grande Surf Hostel is 20 metres from El Médano Beach and 10 minutes’ drive from Tenerife South Airport. It offers free Wi-Fi, a furnished chill-out terrace and surf equipment hire.

Accommodation is in bunk beds in mixed dormitory rooms. Each bright dormitory has a wardrobe and a shared bathroom with showers. It was a nice place with more of a local feel and less busy and touristy than on the west side of the island. Nice beach, and rojo mountain near by for a nice little hike and beautiful views. Big time surfer spot as well but you don’t need to be a surfer to be there either.

This comfortable and bright hostel is located 500 metres from La Mareta Beach. It offers a pretty garden with outdoor pool, a sun terrace with BBQ and good WiFi connection, 10 minutes’ drive from Tenerife South Airport.

Los Amigos Nest Hostel offers comfortable dormitories with bunk beds and individual lockers and private bedrooms. Bathrooms are shared, sheets are included. The atmosphere, the decorations and the people. An amazing hostel with such a friendly staff. I would recommend it to anyone who is planning to go to El Médano.
